Remove the extra side with a scissor
Fold the square paper into half
Fold the closed end about ONE inch as shown below
Fold the paper into half again.
Fold the corner inward
Fold the same corner outward to get a permanent mark
Fold the ONE inch mark earlier to the other side
Open the folded paper and some pattern can be observed
Fold a small triangle from the center to the edge as shown below
Some pattern resulted from the smaller triangle folded earlier
Push the center-line inwardly and get the visible line as shown
Squeeze further while carefully shaping the center
Carefully...
Slowly...
The center should looks like this
Flip to the rear side of the paper
Hold together the leading edge one by one
Remove any unwanted folds in the inner side that prevent the previous folding
Keep on folding the leading edge until the last one
Hold it together until it looks like this
Flip upward the bottom of the paper
Until the last piece of the bottom part of the paper
Insert the last folded part into the slit formed from the first folded opening
Press firmly the edge until a vivid line is formed
Keep pressing...
Fold down the bottom part which is folded up previously by some corner to make some natural flower shape
Keep folding until the last edge...
Now, fold the top part downward, repeat this step for the rest. Try to make it looks natural as possible. Decorate it with few more similar roses, leaves and some soft paper as shown in the first picture.
